In this annual tradition, members & friends will celebrate the ingathering of the community following the summer months. All are invited to bring some water or a stone to add to our communal bowl and to share a special insight achieved during the past few months. Following the service, these blended waters and stones will be added to the Memorial Garden.
In his book Moral Politics: How Liberals and Conservatives Think, George Lakoff presents a fascinating analysis that the “great divide” between liberals & conservatives is rooted in our basic notions of family and authority. In this service, Rev. Woulfe will share some of the insights he has gleaned from this writer, and how they apply to our religious values.
June 13 Q & A Service – Rev. Martin Woulfe
In this service, Rev. Woulfe will welcome your questions, on matters theological and congregational. This might be a fine opportunity to learn how many angels dance on a pin – and to discover to which tune do they dance?
