Young girls today receive a variety of messages from media, pop-stars and peers. Where we can never truly “protect” our girls form these messages, can we “arm” them with the right messages? Music is probably one of the strongest “message givers” out there. By the time they are teenagers, girls have already been saturated with the messages of perfection and “not good enough.” We need to arm them long before that! Buffy will explore lessons of compassion, strength, self-confidence and self respect in some of the most popular music out there!
