ALUUC is fortunate to have three lay wedding officiants.  They are available to conduct weddings and same-sex unions for non-members on behalf of our congregation when the Minister is not available.   Please email Rev. Martin Woulfe or call 217-585-9550 for more information.

Building Rental

The ALUUC building is available for rent to members and friends, for weddings & memorial services, and to organizations whose purposes are in sympathy with our Mission.  All rentals must be approved by the Minister, or, in his absence, by the Board President. All religious or ceremonial events must be officiated by the Minister of ALUUC or by his assent.

In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit is required, which will be held by ALUUC until after the event.  The deposit is fully refundable provided that no damage has occurred and the building is left in a reasonable clean condition. Your rental is not guaranteed unless we have received and deposited the two fees mentioned above in addition to your security deposit. Your check(s) should be received by ALUUC at least 30 days in advance of your event.  All renters are expected to adequately clean the space rented after using the building.  Renters assume all financial responsibility for any repairs or replacement of any lost or damaged items and areas.
